The Sabrina Collection - "Miss Fairchild"

Original price: $125
Limited edition of 450
Mid-June 2012

The Poppy Parker sculpt was used for a special 2012 collection based on the 1954 movie "Sabrina" starring Audrey Hepburn. Each of the dolls used in the collection had variations in the colors and screenings used for the face paint, as well as lavish costumes from the movie.

The "Miss Fairchild" doll sported gray right-glancing eyes with a silvery-gray eyeshadow; soft pink lips; and short medium-brown hair with matching brown eyebrows.

She came with a solid black dress and petticoat; black shoes; elbow-length black gloves; a beaded hat; a frozen daiquiri; black brocade clutch purse, nude pantyhose and rhinestone earrings.

The Sabrina Collection - "Most Sophisticated"

Original price: $180
Limited edition of 450
June 2012

The Poppy Parker sculpt was used for a special 2012 collection based on the 1954 movie "Sabrina" starring Audrey Hepburn.  Each of the dolls used in the collection had variations in the colors and screenings used for the face paint, as well as lavish costumes from the movie.

"Most Sophisticated" was a gift set with three complete outfits.  The doll sported short, almost-black hair with dark brown eyebrows.  Her eyes were right-glancing and dark blue, with eyeshadow done in natural light brown tones.  She had red lips.  The lips were not a true red, but more of a pinkish-red.

She came with two white suitcases -- one large and one small -- banded in dark red; a black purse with a handle (not a clutch purse); three pairs of shoes (black pumps, black flats with a white design, and white sandals); her gray poodle named "David"; a white turban-style hat; and earrings.  She also came with a dark olive green coat.

Outfit #1 was her "returning home from Paris" ensemble:  a navy blue double-breasted suit.  The suit has black gloves and a white turban-style hat.
Outfit #2 was the boating outfit from the movie:  a plaid shirt with white shorts.  The shirt had a wrapped look in the front.

Outfit #3 was a long-sleeved black sweater with black capri-length pants.

"Isn't It Romantic" had short, almost-black hair with dark brown eyebrows.  She had left-glancing dark brown eyes with light brown eyeshadow; and red lips.

She wore an amazing strapless white gown with black embroidery (the pictures will have to speak for themselves on this one); elbow-length white gloves; black shoes; and rhinestone earrings with pearl pendants hanging down from them.  I'm assuming she also had nude pantyhose.

Original price: $150.
Limited edition of 650
Debuted at IDEX 2012
April 2012

This was a two-doll gift set that premiered at IDEX 2012.  It featured a platinum-haired Poppy Parker with the debut incarnation of a new character in the Poppy Parker line, Chip Farnsworth III.

Poppy had platinum hair with light brown eyebrows and deep brown, left-glancing eyes with pale pink eyeshadow.  Her lips were salmon pink.  Her eyes shared the same screening as "Ask Any Girl," "Sweet Confection," "Fashion's Night Out," and "Simply Simpatico."

Poppy came with a knee-length coral party dress with a shirred skirt, accented with a coral rose and ribbons at the waist. She had matching coral shoes, elbow-length white gloves, a rhinestone bracelet and earrings, nude pantyhose and a white clutch purse.

This was the very first appearance of the Chip character in the Poppy Parker line.  This debut Chip had blue eyes with dark brown hair and eyebrows.  The hair was flocked on the sides, with the top longer and swept back in a gelled 60s-inspired 'do.  He uses the FR: Homme body.

Chip wore a black-and-white tuxedo with a white dinner jacket; black bowtie; white shirt with black buttons down the front; and black pants with suspenders.  His shoes were black with white tops, not solid black.

Moonlight and Kisses Darla Daley

Limited edition of 350 dolls
IDEX 2012 doll
March 2012

"Moonlight and Kisses" had very dark brown hair (almost black, but not quite) and right-glancing brown eyes with blue eyeshadow.  Her lips were pale.  She shared the same eye screening as the "Simply Simpatico" and "Hit Single" Darlas, which was an almost identical screening to the "Endless Summer," "Holiday in the Hamptons," "Center of Attention" and "Portrait in Black" Poppy Parker face screenings.

She came with a blue satin floor-length gown with a sequined bodice and a big satin bow at the waist; matching blue shoes; a blue rhinestone bracelet; blue rhinestone earrings, nude pantyhose and a blue clutch purse.  The dress zips in the back.  She also came with a wonderfully detailed microphone, since her character is a singer.
