The multi-ethnic theme was reflective of the overall theme for this year's Poppy collection: The 1964-65 World's Fair held in New York City.
Switzerland had forward-facing, light blue eyes with blue eyeshadow, sharing the same double-winged eye screening as "Shadow of a Smile," "In The Air" and "Foto Fab." Like "Joyful in Japan" she had the pale "Japan" skintone, and her lips were nude. She had applied eyelashes. Her hair was long and straight and a bright shade of orange-red, with orange eyebrows to match.
Her blouse and skirt were attached to each other as one dress, not separate pieces. The blouse was light blue with a white polka-dot overlay, with a gathered neckline and short puffy sleeves. The white overlay was not removable from the bodice underneath. The light blue circle skirt was lined satin, and fell to mid-thigh. She had a separate, removable corset-laced white belt around her midriff. She came with a white fur hat, a white muff for her hands, white tights and a blue cape-style coat with collar. She was the first Poppy to come with ice skates.
She did not come with earrings.
